We all know what we like. We all know what we want to hear. We all know which songs we will be humming under our breath tomorrow. Portal is presented to you, the doom metal community, with the hope you consider it's source. Heavy inspiration came from Sabbath since they ruled the 70's when we were the record buying public. Since then many sub-genres have appeared and no doubt many of you have a favorite. All we ask is that you enjoy our contribution to doom metal. May not be your cup of tea per say, but these songs were written and recorded to pay homage to the two greatest strains of music ever created-doom metal and power metal.
Portal is a recording band. We may never be a touring band, even though Roadburn and RockHard sure sound great!
